Collagen biostimulators, such as Sculptra and Radiesse, work differently from botox and fillers. While botox and fillers primarily address wrinkles and volume loss by temporarily paralyzing muscles or adding volume, collagen biostimulators stimulate the body's natural collagen production. This results in gradual improvement in skin texture, firmness, and volume over time. They can complement botox and fillers by providing long-term structural support to the skin. However, they may not completely replace the need for botox or fillers, as each treatment serves different purposes and targets different aspects of aging. 

Proper treatment typically requires 2-3 sessions initially with results that last 12+ months. Yearly maintenance may be necessary.

Results with collagen biostimulators are typically gradual and may take several weeks to months to become noticeable. Initially, you may experience some swelling or mild bruising, but as the body's natural collagen production is stimulated, you should start to see improvements in skin texture, firmness, and volume over time.
