When HA (hyaluronic acid) fillers are injected, they instantly add volume and hydration to the treated area. So you'll typically see some immediate improvement in the appearance of wrinkles, lines, or areas you wanted to enhance (e.g., lips or cheeks). You’ll notice optimal results after 4 weeks. Waiting 4 weeks allows for bruising and swelling to resolve and allows the filler to absorb some water and settle into the tissue appropriately.

On average, HA fillers tend to last between 6 months to 2 years. Maintenance sessions are often recommended to sustain the desired look.

Bruising and swelling are expected with treatment. By two weeks, the bruising and swelling will be nearly gone and the filler will be settled.

Apply ice or cold gel to the treated area to help with bruising/swelling. Avoid makeup at the injection site for the day. Avoid excessive pressure in the area. Avoid sun exposure. Wait 4 weeks before receiving any other skin care or laser treatments.
